Join Colin Samson and Jak Peake for an evening of discussion on the politically radical writing of Frantz Fanon.

Frantz Fanon (1925 – 1961) a psychiatrist and political philosopher who is known for his urgent and dynamic critique of the effects of racism on the psyche is a landmark study of the black experience in a white world. Drawing on his own life and his work as a psychoanalyst he investigates how colonialism’s subjects internalise its prejudices and find ways to mask their trauma. Colin Samson and Jak Peake will explore Fanon’s writing and its relevance today.
