Yoga for Remote Working
This 40 minute yoga class run by our new instructor Lauren will begin with breathing techniques to allow the mind to settle and the muscles to relax and lengthen. The focus of this class will be to gain strength and flexibility primarily for posture. Targeting the neck, shoulders, hip flexors, hamstrings and working the posterior oblique sling. Options will be given for beginners and more advanced practitioners.

Lauren is a movement artist, an ex GB Judo Athlete, Teacher & Yogi. She has taught yoga (Vinyasa, Mandala, Rocket, Hot Yoga & Yin) to all levels and ages across North Essex. Lauren’s attitude to yoga is to guide & educate, sharing the tools to give her students ownership of their bodies & mind through their practice.
For this class a mat may be required if you have a hard floor, please ensure you wear comfortable clothing and conduct this in an open space suitable to conduct stretches.

This webinar is open to all University of Essex staff and students only. Please when registering use your Essex email address to help with identification and minimise the risk of uninvited attendees.
